In March 2012, Amina Fillali, a 16 year old girl from a small town in Morocco took her own life by swallowing rat poison after she married the man who raped her. Compelling young women—including minors—to marry their rapists is a practice that is not only socially legitimized but legally enshrined. The young Moroccan female director decided to enable the survivors and Moroccan society to tell their stories firsthand.

Born on the 15th of August 1987, Hind BENSARI quits her job as Business Development Manager for a Middle-Eastern investment fund in London to direct her first documentary 475: Break the Silence. A TEDx speaker, Hind has now dedicated her career to documentary filmmaking and empowering young generations to speakout for and take-on causes they believe in.
