    With the Rainbow Nation forged by Nelson Mandela, a nation for everybody regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation was supposed to be created— a nation where the homogenous society of apartheid was to be abolished. In spite of South Africa having one of the most progressive constitutions in the world, Cape Town's homophobi a is spreading out, everywhere from the skyscrapers of the inner city to the shacks in the townships.

    Mi BALKESTÅHL

    Was born in 1991 in Sweden and has a design degree from Aveiro University. She had the opportunity to live in London and learn about filmmaking and to deepen her knowledge she moved to Stockholm where she met other filmmakers interested in global equality.

    Sepideh ABBASZADEH

    Was born in 1983 in Iran where she studied photography at the Art and Architecture University, but due to political repression she moved to Sweden in 2009.
