    The film follows Balkan women across generations as they reclaim public space through mourning, dance, and chanting in protest. Blending ancient lamentation rituals with feminist activism, it reveals the emotional and political power of collective grief as resistance against patriarchal oppression.

    A Vienna-based filmmaker, video artist, and theatre director trained in art, film, and applied theatre. Her work spans video art and performance, featured at international festivals and exhibitions. She serves on the board of Austria’s directing association dieRegisseur*innen.
