Dating Sucks: A Genderqueer Misadventure is autobiographical animation that explores the successes, failures , anxieties , and confusion of trying to date as a genderqueer/trans person. As genuine as it is comical, this film is the first episode in a forthcoming online digital zine.

    Sam BERLINER

    A gender queer/trans recent MFA graduate from San Francisco State University. Sam is currently the Festival Director of the Seattle Transgender Film Festival. Sam graduated from Smith College in 2005 with a BA in Film & Theatre, moved soon thereafter to the Bay Area to crew on a documentary film, and decided to never leave.
