This documentary deals with cross-dressing issues by showing the lives of three boys, Kiwe, Pengmei, and Tangtang, and tries to explore the reasons of their transvestism, their families' reactions, and how the society receives their behavior. By comparing the lives of these three boys whose family backgrounds are distinct from one other, the film also tries to show the different unknown struggles o f these marginalized
people regarding their gender identities.

Director

Hsiao-Hsuan LIN

Hsiao-Hsuan LIN was born in 1976. She began making documentaries after participating in the training courses held by Council for Hakka Affairs in 2003. Her films mainly deal with issues concerning new residents, homeless people, the third gender, theology, and rare diseases. She also produces TV programs and paintings.
