    HUANG Lo-Yao 2023 Taiwan color 29min DCP
    A 14-year-old dancer meets a new choreographer whose humiliating training triggers involuntary tics in her. The more she tries to suppress them, the less control she has over her body. As the training proceeds, she starts to question the nature and purpose of dancing.

    HUANG Lo-Yao

    HUANG earned her MFA in Film and TV Production from University of Southern California and was selected to the 14th Golden Horse Film Academy. She has received Taiwan’s Excellent Screenplay Award and Assistance Funds for Short Film from Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture.
