    Pong no Tao〜Island of People

    LIN Wan-Yu TSAO Wen-Chieh 2023 Taiwan color 80min DCP
    The main protagonists in the film, currently running guesthouses or art shops, are faced with the increasing number of tourists and the loss of cultural traditions. The film witnesses how the Tao people strive to maintain their modern life while also preserving their cultural roots.

    Director

    LIN Wan-Yu

    LIN works as a film producer, advertising planner, and executive producer. Previously focused on theater work, she now focuses on independent documentary filmmaking.

    TSAO Wen-Chieh

    TSAO currently works as Artistic Director of Revision Broadcasting Company and Assistant Professor in Ethnomusicology at NTNU.
