Messiah of Evil

Gloria KATZ Willard HUYCK 1973 USA color 90min DCP
A young woman drives to the beach town of Point Dune to find her painter father, unaware she is prey to evil forces. This neglected American horror classic, inspired by H.P. LOVECRAFT and George A. ROMERO, combines cults, zombies, and mental illness with a Giallo-style boldness. Recently rediscovered, it made IndieWire's list of the 100 Greatest Horror Movies of All Time and Edgar WRIGHT's 1,000 Favorite Movies.
