    The visuals in Moonscape merge surrealist scenes from the Arab music industry, re-enacted by the artist's parents, who play the roles of the singers in the film. The film uses found footage and archival references to explore the relationship between hope, nostalgia, and despair.

    A visual artist and filmmaker born in Haifa in 1997. BENYAMIN’s works explore intergenerational perspectives on hope, trauma and identity. She works in a variety of media including painting, drawing, archival material and time-based media.
