    A Palestinian teenager writes a letter to a lost friend, ruminating on fragmented identities, violence and euphoria. Using images taken by Israelis of the Gulf War, the First Intifada and rave parties, The White Elephant paints a portrait of a Palestinian teenager coming of age in the 1990s, reflected through the distorted mirror of Israeli pop culture.

    A Palestinian visual artist, filmmaker, and writer. Her work focuses on online digital audiovisual culture and seeks subversive routes for image circulation.She won the Han Nefkens Foundation Video Art Production Award in 2019.
