    After Israel's victory in the Six-Day War, more Palestinians fled to neighboring countries. Jocelyne SAAB, then a war correspondent, directly exposed the double oppression faced by Palestinian women and boldly captured the resolute stance of these female fighters as they engaged in fedayeen, education, and political struggles.

    A pioneer of Lebanese documentary filmmaking, Jocelyne SAAB’s Beirut Trilogy is celebrated for its lyrical, poetic, and personal style, establishing her as a significant figure in essay films. Her works have been featured in the Master in Focus program in the 2019 Women Make Waves IFF, Taiwan.
