    Anna RUDIKOVA 2024 Russian Federation color 60min DCP
    On March 30, 2022, just over a month after Russian troops invaded Ukraine, Sasha SKOCHILENKO walked into a grocery store in St. Petersburg. On April 10, she was taken into detention. SKOCHILENKO is an artist from St. Petersburg and was the first to speak out against the special military operation in Ukraine. Through the eyes of her friends, Message from Sasha witnesses the ongoing trial up close, exposing the absurdities and inhumanity of the Russian legal system.

    Anna RUDIKOVA

    Born in 1984 in Gelendzhik, RUDIKOVA graduated from Southern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don with a degree in TV journalism, and subsequently worked on Channel Five in St Petersburg. RUDIKOVA is a writer and host of the science project Made in Russia and continued to study Film Direction at St Petersburg Documentary Film Studio.
