    During the pandemic, someone shot a short film on a mobile phone—— it’s a love story about an airline stewardess who wanted to fall in love during the dynamic zero-COVID policy in Beijing, so she set out to reconnect with her ex-boyfriends.

    YANG Mingming directed her short debut Female Directors in 2012. She wrote, directed and acted in her first feature film Girls Always Happy, which premiered at the 2018 Berlinale, winning Firebird Award and FIPRESCI Award at HKIFF and Best Director at SIWFF.
