Graduated from Columbia College of Chicago with a master's degree in Film. On Happiness Road is her first animation feature. The film has won numerous awards, including Grand Prize of 2018 Tokyo Anime Award Festival, Best Animation Feature at the 2018 Golden Horse Awards, and Grand Prize, Best Animation, and Audience Choice Award at the 2018 Taipei Film Festival.
