The Hole

HAN Okhi 1973 South Korea Experimental b/w 9min DCP
The continuous series of abstract minimalist stills unfold, accompanied by high-pitched experimental sounds breaking the silence. The Hole is about a solitary man escaping from the ruins and entering the modern city. This film is a poetic ode to modernist fantasy, a sharp critique of reality.
