Yu-Ching's father is a police officer. He applied for transferring to his hometown tribe; as a result, the family moved back together. Yu-Ching, a city girl, doesn't get used to the culture of the tribe. She is afraid of the strange language they speak, also gets bored with the curiosity of children in the tribe about her. Yu-Ching considers herself to be incompatible with this "hometown"... Some things are just like a burn that you can never get rid of. The city girl, Yu- Ching, can never deny the fact of being an aboriginal. This film is based on the view of aboriginal children to consider the issue of cultural identification. It reveals the little girl's exploration toward the root of her life.
