LIN ZIH-JYUN CHENG KO-YANG HSIAO HAO-SI 2006 Taiwan Experimental b/w 3min Mandarin
An animal dealer who wears a black suit brings a secret box to noisy, bustling and crowded streets.He stops on the street and places his box properly. After he opens the box, there is a small but fancy mini-stage inside, and rabbits are there.When black-suit man gives an order, rabbits start to perform to the best they can. The more bloody and violent, the more clapping and cheering the audience gives. The rabbits are exhausted of their energy and life, and put up with tortures and bullying, until they are completely shattered and have no use. What will become of them? What will happen at the end of the performance when rabbits resort to their instinct to protect themselves?What is the relationship among the box, black-suit man and rabbits?

Director

LIN ZIH-JYUN

LIN Zih-iyun was born in Tainan city in 1984. She studied fine arts for 5 years. She is currently studying in National Yunlin University of Science & Technology. In 2005, she began to cooperate with classmates to draw her thought out and made it into an animation Unveiling. Her work is influenced by Bill Plympton, a US animation director. The style is simple and smooth in lines and changes of shapes and the storyline carries a touch of black humor.

CHENG KO-YANG

Cheng Ko-Yang was born in Chenghua City in 1983. He graduated from the Department of Commercial Design, National Yunlin University of Science & Technology and the Department of Commerce Design, Ling Tung University. He is currently studying at Graduate School of Commercial Design, Chung Yuan Christian University He was involved in print images and graph editing/creating, prior to film creations. He has won many awards in a variety of commercials and print design competitions. In 2005, he worked with his classmates for the first time in the making of animation Unveiling as the graduation creation. It is a new form of animations that combine visual images with hand drawings.

HSIAO HAO-SI

HSIAO Hao-Si, born in Taipei, was graduated first from Department of Arts, Fu-Shin Trade and Arts School and then from Department of Arts Department of Visual Communication Design, National Yunlin University of Science & Technology, In 2005, first attempts were made to cooperate with classmates with the production of animations in the graduation creation.
