Voice of a Stranger

TANIA SNG 2003 Singapore Experimental color 7min
Can you hear the silence ? Shot over a period of 3 years in the nights of Singapore, whenever a woman "exposed" herself and captured her imagination, Filmmaker Tania Sng captured documentary scenes of women in Singapore. Then, inspired by a collection of poetry by Cyril's Wong and Shawn Ng's moving viola da gamba performance, Voice of a Stranger attempts to be a voice of these delicate women.
