Olmo and The Seagull is a mesmerizing film about Olivia, the stage actress of Theatre du Soleil and her partner Serge's self-doubting and inner fear during the course of her pregnancy. Finding out the limits of her own body, Olivia senses that the thin line between reality and the roles they play is swiftly disappearing. Overlying the past and present she is challenged with a new life philosophy, delivering her true self.

Petra COSTA

She completed her undergraduate studies in Anthropology and Theater at Columbia University and Masters in Health, Community and Development at the London School of Economics. She intends to use intimate personal experiences as her raw material and project their poetry on the screen. She also has been working professionally as an actress since 15. Before Elena, she directed the short Olhos de Ressaca (Undertow Eyes), a poetic depiction of love and aging as seen from the perspective of her grandparents. It was shown in several international festivals. She earned an MA at the London Petra COSTA's first feature film Elena (2012), premiered at IDFA and won several prizes in festivals worldwide.

Lea GLOB

Lea GLOB graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2011 with her well received short film Meeting My Father Kasper Tophat. Among other acknowledgments, the film won a Golden Panda for most innovative documentary film at the Chinese Shiuan TV Festival.
