Vicki SUGARS is known to the Australian film industry as a first assistant director having worked on features and TV drama. In 2004 she was the associate producer on the feature film Look Both Ways. In 2005 she produced the 5 minute claymation Extreme Makeover, a comedy on trials of plastic surgery. SUGARS is currently in pre-production on her second film The Gulf, a half hour drama on psychological violence. She has a feature film in development, about a writer struggling to write her first feature film. SUGARS has yet to decide if it's comedy or tragedy. Moustache is SUGARS's first film as director.
