Carole ROUSSOPOULOS 1976 b/w 30min
Video series of the women laborers' struggle at the LIP watch factory in the 1970s. The two protagonists testify to the reality of sexual discrimination inside the labor movement, comparing the relationship between men and women to that between Caucasians and Arabs. Female laborers, treated as accessories by the male leadership, reconfirm their self-value through their struggle and begin to speak up on the issues surrounding the feminist and sexual minority movements. The montage depicting women fighting against sexual discrimination in the opening of the film are quite impressive.
