Vivian OSTROVSKY 1992 France documentary color 20min
Vivian Ostrovsky focused on Mathilde Monnier and her companies, filming six of her choreographic works between 1988 and 1991. The film is edited in the way that covers the elaboration of rehearsals up to the final production on stage. Owing to the symbiosis between the filmmaker's own personality and that of the choreographer's, this documentary in its cinematic form recaptures the humour, the nervosity and the dramatic tension as found in Mathilde Monnier's performances.
