Her work, initiated in the seventies, lies at the extreme edge of modern photography, illustrating the most personal adventures of her life in the turbulent underground of New York: images of her love life, pleasures and friends, of transvestites, homosexuals and transsexuals, but also of her own solitude...

Jean-Pierre Krief

Born in 1952, Jean-Pierre Krief got a Diploma in Cinematography Studies and Research, and then enrolled at Jean Rouch's audiovisual laboratory. He has developed his dual track approach as Director and Producer through his own production company, KS VISIONS, created in 1987. Since 2001 Jean-Pierre Krief has also been a lecturer in documentary film making at Paris 7 University. Since July 2005, he has been appointed by National Center for Cinema of France as commissioner for documentary cinema.
