    Zhang Ailing first became famous in the literary world with her novel “Legend”, and her essays in “Gossip”, and her talent was immediately recognized as extremely unique. Her romances about youth in Shanghai are very vivid. Although she gained fame at a young age she soon withdrew from society, becoming a legendary writer who was often misunderstood and forgotten, but was also appreciated and remembered. This part will trace her “Dream of Talent" before she entered her career, and will explore her interior life after withdrawing from society by interviewing her closest friends.

    Lei Xiang, bom in Shanghai, 1939, was a teacher of elementary school and producer of TV program, and is now a writer. He has been awarded of chief-specific from Government Information Office, the Golden Bell Awards for TV and Recommend Award of Novels from Chinatimes. He has published more than 25 books and several TV series.
