Simone de Beauvoir is a renowned French writer, a representative figure of existentialism and a forerunner of feminism. This unique individual has shunned marriage and motherhood. Full of character and charisma, Beauvoir is the spiritual mentor of twentieth-century women. Beauvoir passed away in Paris on April 14th 1986. Since then, worldwide followers poured into Paris, hoping to accompany Beauvoir on her last journey. This thirteen-minute short film begins with her funeral attended by ten thousands of people mourning and remembering this great thinker.

Delphine Camolli

Bom in 1968 and raised in South of France, Delphine studied cinema in Paris and thereafter worked for newspapers and cinematographic events. From 1998 to 2003, Delphine produced and directed her first documentary film with the photographer Irina Ionesco. Delphine currently resides in Marseille since 1995.
