    Boundary: Flaming Feminist Action

    After the Gangnam Station Murder Case in 2016, my friends and I started a campaign by establishing the Flaming Feminist Action to address the issues of female body and sexuality. We lived as feminism activists since then, and now we are opening up the diary which is passionate, dreadful and soggy like a summer. It captures closely from the inner circle of a feminist organization, recording the activist spirits, as well as the friendship between them.

    She worked as an activist for the Part-Time Workers’ Union, and later became a member of the Flaming Feminist Action. Her second documentary feature, Boundary: Flaming Feminist Action, won the Best Korean Documentary Award at the 2021 DMZ International Documentary Film Festival.
