    In this witty Hollywood send-up, OXENBERG satirizes a variety of film genres and the ways in which they perpetuate lesbian stereotypes, with a shoestring budget. It invites queer artists and friends to come along and twist the heterosexual abuse of mainstream narrative into humorous fun.

    Jan OXENBERG

    A Jewish filmmaker, producer, and screenwriter, OXENBERG was born in Brooklyn in 1950 and graduated from CalArts. Openly a lesbian, she actively participates in feminist movements and often creates works on queer themes. Her short debut Home Movie was recognized as one of the first lesbian feminist films of all time.
