    On Christmas Eve, 1944, Nelly and Nadine fell in love in the Ravensbrück concentration camp. Despite being separated in the last months of the war, they managed to later reunite and spend the rest of their life together. For many years the love story was kept a secret until Nelly’s grandchild, Sylvie, decided to open Nelly and Nadine’s unseen personal archives and uncover their remarkable story.

    Magnus GERTTEN

    An award-winning director and producer from Sweden. GERTTEN has directed more than 15 documentaries for SVT and TV channels since 1998. His films have been screened at festivals worldwide. Nelly and Nadine is his third film about the survivors in WWII.
