    A zombie film written, directed, shot, and produced by the female professional. Two years after zombies have overrun the earth, the German towns of Weimar and Jena are the last hold-outs of human civilization. The film follows two young women, Vivi and Eva, while fighting against the undead, they develop a strong relationship, while also being forced to confront the demons of their past. They flee the confines of the Weimar zombie-free community, finally realizing that the fight against the undead may not be theirs…. This film reflects upon our future existence, how we choose to live, and our options in a world where nature strikes back.

    Carolina HELLSGARD

    A writer-director, born in Sweden and based in Berlin. Her award-winning films have been screened in numerous international film festivals including Berlinale, TIFF. Her critically acclaimed debut feature film Wanja was nominated for the Berlinale Best First Feature Award and has screened in WMWIFF. Her second feature Ever After was ranked as the Top 20 zombie film by The Guardian.
