    Lydia Lunch：The War is Never Over

    As No Wave icon from the late 70's, Lunch has forged a career devoted to the utter right of any woman to indulge, seek pleasure, and to say "fuck you!" as loud as any man. She continues to do so even when she turns 60. Underground filmmaker and fellow militant Beth B brings a fitting ode to an indomitable, militant woman, who started fighting her demons early on in life.

    Beth B explored the New York underground scene in the late '70s after receiving her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 1977. Her early films, along with those of Jim Jarmusch and Amos Poe, are the focus of a new documentary, Blank City. Her work is often politically charged and provocative and continues to challenge society's conventions.
