    The titular anthropology student Fan Fan decides to temporarily take up a job as a sexy karaoke girl at a local gentlemen club, after a disappointing realization about her love life. When one of her clients treats her with a kindness and respect rarely seen in the sex industry, the lines between business and pleasure start to get blurry.

    LIU Chia-Hsin

    Born in Taipei, Taiwan, during her studies in finance, she explored her interest in theatre/video and shifted her focus to film. She received her MFA in Film Production from NTUA, and has worked on documentary and dramatic genres. Her 30-min short film, Fan Fan, was screened at international film festivals, where it won an audience award for the best Taiwanese short at International film Festival Berlin, which showed on ARTE TV.
