Salut Pierrot

Ulrike Pfeiffer 2001 Germany Experimental b/w & color 10min 35mm
This is an experimental short film, which puts much emphasis on shooting, color, and atmosphere creation. It is influenced a lot by the well-known French director's masterpiece "Les Enfants du Paradis", somewhat with the attempt to pay tribute to this film. The enchanting summer luster and the charming scenes reflected in the river are shown in this film, making people surprised at its beauty. The outstanding photographic aesthetics and pure and simple music make the dialog-free short film not only touching but also even superior to the sound film.
