The film records the life of Lin Ven-Ing, a woman who has to raise her four children and pay up the huge debts that her husband left her all by herself. She works all day and all night. Doing jobs that are way beyond the capacity of a normal human being. All for just one purpose --to live. How does she manage to raise her family? What does she think about her life and the challenges she encounters? How do her children think about all these?
