Always, there are graceful sculptures of women on the grand pillars of the ancient architectures in Paris. The director shows in the film her interest in the sculptures which have been supporting the grand architectures since the time of Baudelaire.
The film was invited to 1984 Venice Film Festival.

Agnès Varda

French filmmaker born in 1928. Greek father. French mother. Short studies in Paris. Photographer in the fifties. In 1954, she creates a film company CINE-TAMARIS for debut feature La Pointe Courte, which gave her the title of "Grand Mother of the French New Wave". Among 33 short and long, the best known films of Agnès are Cléo from 5 to 7(1961), Vagabond(1985), Jacquot de Nantes (1990), The Gleaners and I (2000), The Beaches Of Agnes (2008) and Visages Villages (2017).
