    13-year-old girls talk frankly about adolescent subjects like growing boobs, kissing, boys and being too fat. At the local cafeteria all major issues are discussed over chips and Coke. The VMBO students (lower secondary professional education) call a spade a spade and, giggling, bare their souls to each other. The presence of the camera does not seem to bother them one bit. And the boys are also given a chance to explain why they always have such strange looks on their faces during gym class and in the swimming pool.

    After finishing film school, Anneke de Lind van Wijngaarden made several children documentaries for NCRV television, including :French Kissing (2002), Cherry Flip (2002), Bye Bye (2003), The Freckles (2003) and Titties (2004). Besides television works, she also made films and interactive installations for theatre and theater festivals. Her work includes: Lie or Die (2002), Filmmachine (2003) , The Crying Grandmother (2004), Airmail (2004), and Praatapparaat (2005).
