


Director Holly Dale has been honing her craft for more than 20 years, and her work has appeared in festivals around the world and has garnered much acclaim. In 1982, her controversial documentary P4W: Prison for Women, won several awards, as did her 1985 documentary Hookers on Davie, 1986's Making of Agnes of God, crafted from Dale's experience as director observer on the Norman Jewison film, and 1988's Calling the Shots. Other credits include two episodes of the Heritage series, Side Effects, Blood and Donuts (nominated for three 1997 Genie awards), Dangerous Offender (a dual Gemini award-winning CBC MOW), multiple episodes of Exhibit “A” for the Discovery Channel, Traders and Amazon for Global TV, The City for CTV, Twice in a Lifetime for CTV, First Wave, for Francis Ford Coppola, and the 2001 MOW Wolfe Goes Out: A Nero Wolfe Mystery. In 1989, Dale was one of the first students to attend Jewison's Canadian Centre for Advanced Film Studies.
