    A-Shin, a 4th grade student, is not popular among his classmates and also a hopeless kid in the grownups' eyes. He is also a headache to the neighborhood. On the other hand, Mei-Chuan, a typical housewife, is annoyed by kids who hang out in the neighborhood after school. It makes her feel that the place is not as safe anymore. One day, she followed A-Shin home, and was surprised to find the children's world something beyond her knowledge... The story is centered on an ordinary housewife, whose life is confined to her family, the traditional market, and the children's school. Her participation in community activities and stepping out of her boring family life eventually saved a trouble kid. The film depicted the contradiction and maturity of modern Taiwanese women, as well as the warmth that lied in their modest characters.
