Do I Love You?

Lisa Gornick 2002 UK Fiction color 73min English Betacam
When love falls apart there is a tendency to question everything, including life itself. Do I Love You? is a film for the person who likes to ask questions.
Lisa Gornick who writes and directs Do I Love You? plays Marina, a woman lurching on the outside of mainstream society: "I don't know who I want to sell myself to", she says, "Perhaps I'm in the midst of some huge branding crisis".
This state of being precipitates a comic deconstruction of self that includes the breakdown of her relationship with her girlfriend Romy, (Raquel Cassidy). Marina embarks on a quest, which takes her on a bike journey across London where chance encounters with friends, ex-lovers and the occasional stranger bring intrigue and sometimes an answer.
