    Kiss is an act of desire and possession. The first half of the movie talks about the burning desire when love is just like metal in the fire; red and hot. Lovers swallow kisses like hungry animals. Whereas the second half is just the total opposite-what goes on when love goes away? Images become cold, black and white, slow, quiet, "Kiss" uses colors and images to tell the story of love.

    HSIEH Pei-Wen

    An animation director, instructor and curator. HSIEH has won Golden Harvest Award, the South Taiwan Film Festival Best Animation Award, and the Kaohsiung Film Festival Jury Prize. She's also a nominee of the Annecy IAFF.
