    Tracey Moffatt creates a series of photographic works with her peculiar avant-garde artistic style, which makes her the most well-known new-generation female photographer in Australia. In 1997, she created "Up in The Sky", a series of photographic works, which pay tribute to American female photographer Cindy Sherman. The director of this film, Jane Cole, records the snatches of Tracy Moffatt's creation process as well as the difficult and arduous process of Tracy's exploration on the limit of her creation.

    Born u Brisbane, Australia, on Novemember 12, 1960,Tracey Moffatt studied visual communication at the Queensiand College of Art . She graduated in 1982; her first solo show of photography took place in 1989, in Sydney, where she still lives and works. Moffatt first gained widespread critical attention for her short film ''Night Cries: A Rural Tragedy ''(1990),which was an official selection at the Cannes Film Festival that year. Her first feature film, ''Bedevil'' was shown in Un Certain Regard Cannes in 1993, and her documentary films and music videos have won critical acclaim. Tracey Moffatt's photography is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Tate Gallery in London.
