    The director has interviewed five women about their memories of rape, searched police records for rape scenes and filmed these settings and the women´s own stories. What happens to the memory of a rape and what happens to the site where it happened?

    Ewa Cederstam

    Born 1967. Educated as a still photographer at Malmö Yrkesskola (1989-1992) and as a film photographer at Dramatiska Institutet (1996-1999). Has photographed a number of documentaries and fiction films, and co-directed three films. A woman's place is her first own film.
