    Animation can be as powerful as documentary. "Time" talks about the tragic history that happened during the second world war in Taiwan when some women were captured and kept in the camps where there were raped by soldiers constantly. With poetic images and transposed style, "Time" captures the essence of memories, pain and humanity.

    Chiu Yu-feng

    Chiu Yu-feng studied film at National Taiwan College of the Arts and 2D Animation at the graduate school of Tainan National College of the Arts. Her animation works include "Fantasy" (1996), 'It's OK" (1999). "Time" received Best Animation Award of 2000 Taipei Film Festival, and was shown in the "Focus on Contemporary Taiwanese Women Filmmakers" of 2000 Women's Film Festival in Seoul.
