After graduating with a bachelor's degree in sociology and a desire to change the world, Celesta Davis went on to pursue a career in the arts, her first love. It wasn't until she made the decision to confront the man who had molested her as a child that she saw the potential in marrying her backgrounds to help others. With her writing and creative skills and her background in sociology, she set out to make "Awful Normal", an autobiographical documentary, and her first film.
