Kim Longinotto 1975 England Documentary b/w 82min 16mm
In the bustling and flourishing Soho Area of London, many people actively search for their dreams. But there are a group of women living at a hostel here because of being homeless. Kim Longinotto shot the life of two of the women for two and a half months to show how they make a living in this big city, find their way out, but at the same time are deprived of the right to own a home. In an exquisite female stand points, Kim Longinotto explores the hard bitten process of the two homeless women. This film has entered lots of film festivals and won the special award in the Tuor Film Festival in France.
