    Wan Pei-Chyi 2003 Taiwan Documentary color 60min Chinese Beta
    1 family, 2 passengers: a grandmother and her grandchild, in 3 cities; this is a story with 4 paragraphs. This is just a Diaspora tale about an outland family; people came from Mainland China to Taiwan many years ago. Fragmentary images and uncertain passage, all these are or aren't about remembrance. We get in and away from the journey of time; and freeze between the frames of memory.
    Remember, or not remember.
    This is a story about me and my family.
    And I meet my grandmother’s memory just on my way.

    Director

    Wan Pei-Chyi

    Wan, Pei-Chyi was born in 1974 and graduated from National Taiwan University majoring in foreign language and literature. Because of some social work about Taiwan indigenous people, she had the chance to work as a researcher, director and producer of some TV documentaries in Dimensions Communications with Dao-Ming Lee during 1996 to 2000. Then,graduated from Tainan National College of the Arts with the Master of sound and image studies in 2003. She is currently an independent documentary filmmaker.
