This is a story about four women and three generations: grandmother, mother and two daughters. One of them is Caterina Klusemann. After her father's death, this women only family moved to a remote part of Tuscany. Although the two girls attened Italian school and have Italian friends, but things are completely different at home - a chaotic mixture of Spanish, Polish and German. She believed that she came from a Venezuelian-Polish background, but she finally finds out that her grandmother and mother are Holocaust survivors. This personal testimony pursues a long-kept family secret, gradually and painfully unveiling it.

Caterina Klusemann

Caterina Klusemann born 1973 in Italy, grew up in Venezuela, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.1991~95 studied biochemistry at the University of Basel, 1996~2001 studied directing at Columbia University, New York. After a year in Mongolia, she is living in Berlin and Italy, working on fictional and documentary projects.
