    As a priestess, the director’s mother helps the dead receive salvation through chants and prayers. However, when it comes to herself, she is bound to her painful past. The director unfolds the stories of the voiceless, yet was muted by a shameful secrete... With different mediums, the director embarks on a journey with her mom with an attempt to find their own redemption.

    Huang Hui-chen is an activist and documentary filmmaker. Before moving into films, she worked for the NGOs such as Taiwan International Workers Association and the China Time's Trade Union , advocating labour right and social justice.
