    By taking Jean Genet’s play The Maids as a point of departure, the film is a journey in the mind space of two sisters. The maids take over their vegetative Madame’s room and her wardrobe . Through the passage of their everyday dreams and reality, they enact a freedom that they will never feel.

    Asawari JAGUSHTE

    Independent director, producer, cinematographer and editor based in Mumbai, India. She started her journey in films by assisting on ad commercials. Her work mostly delves in to the themes of gender, identity, displacement, dream & food.
