    LIN Tuan-Chiu 1965 Taiwan Fiction b/w 97min Taiwanese DCP
    After the death of their mother, Siok-Hui sings in a nightclub to support her younger sister Siok-Tshing, but her immature sister looks down on her occupation. Siok-Tshing then begins working in a pharmaceutical company where she has a crush on her colleague Bun-Pin. But little does she know that Bun-Pin has fallen passionately in love with her sister.

    LIN Tuan-Chiu

    Born in 1920, LIN Tuan-Chiu was a playwright active in Taiwan's New Drama Movement, and writerdirector for Taiwanese-language films studied in Japan after working at the Toho Company. After working at the Toho Company in Japan, he became one of the first Taiwanese filmmakers with hands-on studio experience. His films are well known for their detailed psychological portraits, especially the portrayals of female characters. Using compelling stories, diverse camera movement and carefully-designed composition, LIN shot many classics.
