Cherlyn Hsing-Hsin LIU 2014 Taiwan Experimental color 39min Mandarin, Taiwanese DigiBeta
It is an experimental documentary film that attempts to combine images with literature. With different media including dairy, photos, video footage and sound effects, the film tells of my memory of returning to my hometown in 2013. For the first time in thirty years, I stepped on my motherland and reunite with my mother. Moments of happiness fled. At least we have this film to keep the time we've shared.
